OMG! Cat!

I was wondering what all of the raucous was about going on in the backyard... And then I saw it... Cat!!! Up in the tree!!!



I thought it was quite funny at first, which is why I grabbed my phone to video tape the dogs going nuts over a cat (all the while, holding a baby in the other arm), until the cat started to climb down the tree... That's when common sense kicked in and I feared that someone was gonna get hurt- which is why you hear me calling for Cody and Daisy to go back in the house all stern... Of course, they didn't listen to me. But the cat got away, unharmed. :)

Happy Halloween!

Daisy wanted to be a butterfly this year... And Cody? Well... Cody hates Halloween every year because they just don't make costumes for big boys! Nothing ever fits him, and Mommy isn't crafty enough to make him a costume... So it looks like Cody decided to borrow baby Madi's cat ears this year...

Special Treats for the Kids!

Daddy had to drive up to LA for work the other day, and ended up stopping at Three Dog Bakery in San Clemente... Well, not on purpose.. He made a Starbucks pitstop and saw the bakery next to it. I am SOOO jealous! The store owner had 6 huskies hanging out in the shop! If I had gone in that shop, I probably wouldn't have left! :) Here's a picture of one of the huskies...

Anyway, he went in and bought our kids some yummy cookies because they SOOOOO deserve special treats!

What Boy Doesn't Like To Play In The Dirt?

Well... Actually... Cody was just trying to find a cool spot to lay in since Summer finally arrived in San Diego... And unfortunately, we don't have air conditioning in our home! :(

End of Summer Beach Outing.

The last time the Bear and Daisy went to the beach was back in May, two days before I went into labor and popped out a baby. It was right before Memorial Day. The kids HATE it when Memorial Day comes, because that means they won't be able to run free at the beach until after Labor Day in September! They'd have to stay on the leash at Dog Beach in Del Mar all through the summer. Well kids... Fret no more! It is after Labor Day, and you guys deserve to run like the wind at the beach!


There are always tons of extra tennis balls lying around at the beach for the kids to play with. Here's Cody and Daisy going after the same ball!

Now that I have to get out of bed every 3 hours throughout the night to feed the new baby, Cody and Daisy feel the need to keep my side of the bed warm...
Especially Daisy... She keeps both the bed AND pillow warm!

Both Cody and Daisy are happy to welcome and protect their new 2-legged baby sister, Madison! (Madison at 4 days old).

Memorial Day Weekend Party Has Started!

What a way to start off the long weekend! And what a gorgeous day too! Cody Bear and Daisy partied hard at the beach today since this is the last weekend until after Labor Day weekend that they can run amuck around Del Mar Dog Beach off leash! After this weekend, all dogs need to be leashed up in order to play at Del Mar Dog Beach until September... That's no fun!

Cody was soooo thrilled to run around in the ocean and play with other dogs. He even played fetch a few times and this dog NEVER plays fetch! Must have been in a super good mood! :)

Of course anything Cody does, Daisy wants to do too! However, Daisy playing fetch didn't last too long since she doesn't like going too far into the ocean to fetch the tennis ball and getting her hair wet.
