Family Day

It was "Family Day" at the Drake Center (Cody's vet) and they were kind enough to take free family portraits. Here is my favorite of the 8 pictures they gave us. Awww, don't we make a cute family? Clearly Cody gets his good looks from Momma :)

Making Mommy proud on Mother's day!

What a beautiful, sunny, and warm Mother's Day today! It was so nice we decided to take a dip in the pool and, you guessed it! Cody Bear's 2nd attempt to go swimming!! Look at him go!

He needed some help finding the steps on the shallow end of the pool.

With a wee bit of encouragement, praise, and a helping hand to stay calm,

Cody Bear stood on the first step of the pool ALL BY HIMSELF and made Mommy SO proud!

Cody then got the spa treatment of being towel-dried for being such a great sport!

Puppy Yoga Classes...

Are now starting in the bedroom closet.

Gettin' cozy

Today was such a lovely sunny Sunday. Cody Bear made himself comfortable on the swing at grandma and grandpa's backyard.

The First Casualty...

Auntie Cheryl (the greatest puppy sitter ever!) across the street tried an experiment yesterday to see how Cody would do left inside the house by himself, outside of his crate. i came home to find him munching on something on the stairs:

this is the first thing cody has ever chewed up inside our house since we got him.

after scolding him for being a "bad dog," Cody ran outside to the backyard, as far away from his angry mother and didn't step foot inside the house for about an hour. i think he had some time to think about what he had done haha
