Cody & Daisy's New Years Eve Party...

... at the beach, of course! These kids are such beach bums, they'd have any party there! Here's Daisy telling Cody how much fun she's having at the beach!

The kids were so full of energy, they played chase pretty much the whole time we were there.

Time to go home so that mommy and daddy can get ready for their own New Years party. :)

Mini Patrick's 911 incident...

Mini Patrick had a lot of play time this afternoon.

The pups brought him out in the backyard, near the pool, so it was pretty inevitable what happened next after a bit of tug-o-war and a game of chase:

After the pups panicked at the thought of Patrick drowning, Mommy saved him, and they were off playing again as if nothing ever happened.

Here comes the sun!

After a few days of rain and winter gloom, the sun finally came out and the kids were so excited to be out playing in their sunny backyard again. I figured this would be a good time to take some cute portraits of the pups.

Daisy: Mom, what do you want me to do?

Daisy: You want me to just look cute? Ok!!!

Daisy: Oh... you want me to be serious... boo!!!

and of course, Cody is just a natural model. :)

Merry Christmas!

Finally! The day (or night since we celebrated on Christmas Eve) has come when the kids got their goodies from their stockings! Wow! Candy cane bones, and surprise surprise! Patrick is back! Well, a mini Patrick:

Although the mini Patrick was in Cody's stocking (Daisy got a toy bone that says "Bite Me" on it haha), Daisy missed Patrick so much, she stole it from Cody and wouldn't let him out of her... mouth...

Aunty Kimi and Uncle V got the kids new animal toys as well! So cute! (Thanks Kimi and V!!) But again, Daisy thought ALL of the new toys were hers...

Cody finally got a hold of some new toys... He figured he better lay on top of them to keep them safe. I think Daisy stole them from him within 5 minutes haha.

Christmas Day was celebrated by eating their new candy cane bones! Boy was Daisy excited!

Cody couldn't wait to get his paws on this goodie!

So when did you say Santa is gonna come down the chimney?

Because that candy cane bone in my stocking is calling my name right now!

Santa came early this year and dropped off Cody and Daisy's Christmas presents: matching (trendy) feeders! yay!

They love their new bowls cuz its so modern and they match the decor of the house! haha

Rain, rain, go away!

The kids are SO disappointed that today was not only windy, but rainy! They've been stuck indoors all morning and this afternoon- not sure when the rain is gonna let up. Every once in awhile, I would open the door to see if they need to go potty, but they just stare out the door with their sad little faces.


Daisy finally decided to make the most out of the rainy day. She found a puddle to play in, while Cody and I watched her from inside the house:

Rude little Daisy thought it was perfectly fine to stand RIGHT in front of Cody!

And polite Cody just takes it... I don't think he appreciates staring at... errr... umm... you know?

"Freaky Friday"

Cody and Daisy switched bodies for the day. Either that or Cody wanted to know what it's like drinking water from Daisy's bowl and Daisy wanted to know what it's like to drink from Cody's bowl...

My! Such a BIG yawn...

Yay! It's Christmas Time!

Here are the kids watching us put up the Christmas lights out in the front yard. Cody was telling Daisy how much fun Christmas is because he always gets good presents from Santa. This will be Daisy's first Christmas!


Inside the house, Cody and Daisy watched Daddy put up the fake Christmas tree. We had to tell Daisy that the ornaments are not for her to chew on.


Daisy can't wait to get her very first Christmas present from Santa!

What it's like to be a puppy again.

First off, sorry for not taking any cute Thanksgiving pictures of the pups! Unfortunately the cute turkey and pilgrim hats i made for the pups did not fit their little heads hahaha But hope everyone had a wonderful and fun-filled turkey day weekend!

I haven't seen Cody lay in this bed in ages!! It's turned into their toy chest now, but for some reason, Cody really wanted to know what it was like to be a puppy again. Obviously he didn't remember which way to lay in it. :)



Actually, maybe he liked laying in the bed that way to begin with. Here he is (at 4 months old) laying in this bed as a puppy! I guess he likes his appendages to hang out the bed! :)

The kids can spend hours chasing each other in the backyard. Even after a whole day at day care. I have no idea where the extra energy comes from.

Dog Day at the Beach.

It's been awhile since Cody and Daisy have gone to the beach. And what a treat! Today was a scorcher! 90 degree weather in the middle of November! We thought the doggies would appreciate a beach day. And here they are, running amuck at the beach!
